BU14 ISC Sounders - Coach Brown, 11/5/11, 1pm, Central Park #5, Lost 4 - 6

The BU14 ISC Sounders were defeated 4-6 by our R2 division rivals the J ’97 T-Birds, who we split our regular season series with. The game -- held at Central Park on a cool, sunny afternoon -- was very fun and exciting from start to finish, with both teams playing very well. The Sounders attacked early jumping to a quick 2-0 lead and started to visualize their pending victory before the T-Birds came back to take a 2-3 lead into half-time. After refueling on orange slices we tied it at 3, but soon after the T-Birds got 2 more on us, for a daunting 3-5 lead. But with still 11 minutes to play an exciting Sounders fast break pulled us to 4-5, providing hope that we could still send the game to overtime and perhaps penalty kicks. Unfortunately, we could not contain the T-Birds best player, who scored their final goal a few minutes later, putting the game out of reach. Parents and coaches are very proud of our boys for a hard-fought, entertaining match.
Coach Mike
GU13 ISC Eagles - Coach Burke, 11/6/11, 5pm, Marymoor Park, Win 1 - 0, Advancing

The G-U13 ISC Eagles advance in the cup after defeating the Cheetahs 1-0 in the chilly fall weather at Marymoor Park tonight! The girls really played outstanding soccer tonight and came together as a team. They were so excited to be playing on the turf, under the lights.
Coach Mark
GU14 ISC Shooting Stars - Coach Algate, 11/6/11, 11am, Skyline #1 Lost 0 - 5

Unfortunately, ISC Shooting Stars(GU14) were knocked out of the Rec Cup yesterday….we ran into a team from Bothell that had a forward that could run like the wind and had the finishing skills of Wayne Rooney. The girls were very disappointed but they played some good soccer and fought to the end; the final score (0 : 5) didn’t do them justice.
Paul (Coach, GU14 ISC Shooting Stars)
